I would love to come back completely different under new management

The Deutschmeister has been under new management since September 2020, and I've been there a few times to eat. The bad comments can only relate to the previous owner ... The Deutschmeister now uses fresh, regional and seasonal ingredients to cook without exception, and I could taste that every time. In addition to classic home-style dishes, there are always fine delicacies such as Asian pumpkin soup, so there is something for every taste. The staff are always friendly and courteous, and if you want spaetzle instead of french fries as a side dish, that's no problem either! The portions are plentiful, so that even small budgets will always be full. The atmosphere is cozy, in summer you can sit outside under the chestnut trees and the Deutschmeister is also a great address for private parties! My conclusion: always worth a visit!

Very, very good service (thanks to the change of ownership on September 1st, 2020) The food is freshly prepared before each schnitzel you can hear the knocking from the kitchen and the schnitzel is freshly breaded by hand. (Kudos to the kitchen) Every time a pleasure for the eyes and tongue to eat there please keep it up 👍🏻

That was the worst restaurant I have ever eaten. The schnitzels are frozen goods, the spaetzle bought and I don't even want to start with the fries. I can only recommend not to eat there. At least the beer was good

Since the new owners have arrived, things have gotten a lot better. The food is of real quality again. Keep it up!

I couldn't believe it, but in all my inspections, this was the worst restaurant I have ever visited. A miserable kitchen that offers warmed up old lukewarm bacteria-contaminated dishes from the day before. The taste is just catastrophic. By far the worst food in Germany. Thanks for this experience. Also very funny is he the owner? who lounged at a table in the bar with his mobile phone in hand, a sweater tied around his neck (which has been out for 10 years) and the rich would-be mafiosi played while his bar saves on every corner and is the worst in the world. Deliciously funny !!

Kitchen underground, full dish warmed up from the microwave. Ambience worn out and broken. Service nice, there is the star.

I had a lovely stay here for one night on a long distance cycle tour. Very accomodating and welcoming staff, simple but delicious food, and very good value. The manager even did a load of laundry for free to help me on my way. Highly recommended!

A really nice place with very friendly people. The rooms are cozy, clean and warm, maybe a few years old but are kept as new. The dinner area and the breakfast area have a very characteristic, very beautiful aspect. Breakfast is quite rich. Dinner is typical local. The meats are excellent. Once and never again ... Apparently never renovated here. Wi-Fi works only in the hallway and the breakfast is an impertinence. Three types of cold cuts, a cheese and black tea with side dish in my visit ... hot water only worked on day 1 and any comfort is missing ... No fridge, but musty smell ... Thank you for nothing.
